- Cleanable and reusable – lasts the life of your vehicle.
- 5-layer cotton gauze construction filters out small particles better than OE-type paper filters.

Airflow to the engine is one of the most critical areas affecting both performance and fuel economy of your vehicle. Original equipment air filters are paper construction and actually limit breathing. K&N Air Filters are constructed of 4-6 layers of cotton gauze sandwiched between two layers of metal screening. The cotton construction offers more efficient air flow and superior dirt filtration. Better breathing boosts power and can improve fuel mileage!
K&N Filters are a direct replacement for factory units and will last the life of your vehicle. All K&N Filters feature an unconditional MILLION Mile Warranty.

| Makes a difference (1999 Ford Ranger 3.0L) |

| I installed the filter in my truck with minor difficulty due to the annoying filter box snaps. Other than that no problem installing the filter. I noticed a difference in the sound of the engine immediately. It purs as I accelerate. I also noticed a difference in acceleration as it is quicker to take off and the engine sounds like it breathes easier. As far as gas mileage, I say my truck gets better gas mileage on the highway and a little better in town. Basic upgrade worth the money if you don't want to install a K&N intake kit. |
