Tailgate Handle Relocator

Q: When relocating a tailgte handle, what tools will be needed? Also, how long would you expect this to take?

A: Great question. You will need a combination of hand tools and shop tools to do the job right. The filler plate for the Handle Relocator needs to be welded in place. You will then need a grinder and sander to smooth the welds down to get it ready for paint. On the inside of the tailgate you will also need to cut a hole to allow the handle to be relocated. Depending on your experience, you can expect this job to take anywhere from two to five hours.
