Q: I just purchased a new flame gauge face. What is the best way to make sure that my gauges read correctly after I install it? Jeff – Monroe, WI
A: The best way to do this is draw a quick diagram of your gauges. This does not need to be fancy; all you want is a way to record where your needles are. Start and warm your truck completely. After your truck is warm and still running, write down on your diagram where each needle is positioned. You can then shut off your truck and install your new gauge face. When it comes time to reinstall your needles, start and warm your truck again and put the needles back in the position that you marked on your diagram.
